I love walks in the woods, especially in the fall as the leaves are changing. Got this shot as we were returning to our car after hiking to Spicewood Springs in Colorado Bend State Park. It's not the fantastic colors of other areas of the country, but for Texas, it's not too bad.
Autumn has arrived in the Texas Hill Country and the streams are flowing once again after our recent rains. We saw this leaf in Spicewood Springs at Colorado Bend State Park on Sunday. If you get a chance to go visit the park right now, it's an ideal time as the fall colors are ramping up.
Follow the Spicewood Springs Trail at Colorado Bend State Park you will be led to this scenic spot. The pool that is fed by the creek is crystal clear and very inviting. The touch of fall colors added a nice touch.
