Empty Chair
I was moved to tears when I took this shot yesterday morning in Oklahoma City at the Oklahoma City National Memorial. For those of you that have not been to the site where the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was bombed on April 19, 1995, these chairs represent the 168 people that were killed in the blast. The larger chairs represent an adult and the smaller chairs represent a child. There are nine rows of chairs representing the nine floors of the building and the people that were on each floor when the bomb went off. I felt this shot really brought across the feeling of the memorial with the church steeple in the background. Take a few moments on this Sunday to reflect and remember those who are no longer with us.
