Huntsville Memories

I posted a shot of this scene from Huntsville State Park earlier this week that I took with my iPhone. Although I liked the iPhone photo at the time, and it was all I could post from the park, this is the shot I took with my DSLR that really shows what I remember the scene looking like on Monday morning. It's also the way I want to remember that moment at the park with smoke from the campfires in the area and the trees on the west side of the lake captured in their early morning glow.

Raven Reflections

Staring off the work week with an early morning shot on a late winter day on Lake Raven in Huntsville State Park in east Texas. The reflections off the lake were great that morning with the sun lighting up the trees on the west side of the lake nicely. It was also a chilly morning and you can see the smoke lingering in the air on the right from the campfires other campers have lit to stay warm.

Swampy Situation
