Basic Training

As I was reviewing my portfolio recently I came upon this image of Martha Rhodes that I shot a couple of years. Martha is now in basic training in the US Marines. She definitely defies the typical image of a Marine, but don't let her pretty looks deceive you. She is one tough lady. I've enjoyed following her progress in basic training through posts her family have shared. Here's to wishing Martha all the best in getting through basic training and serving our country in the Marines.

Guns Up

Since I couldn't go to Lubbock to take this shot of Audrea in front of the ring on the Texas Tech campus in Lubbock, her mom asked if I could put together a composite with a photo she took. I told her I'd give it a shot and see what we could come up with. After some work in Photoshop, this was the image that went out with Audrea's graduation invitations.
