Rim Walker

No this is not the view from the South Rim in Big Bend National Park, but it was from a vantage point that my friend Scott and I both felt was equally spectacular, but much easier to reach. This was from the top of the Oak Springs Trail that diverts from the famous Window Trail about a quarter mile before the abrupt end of the Window Trail. There is a little bit of a climb to reach this vantage point, but well worth it in our opinion. So if you ever find yourself in Big Bend and want a little peace and quiet to take in the west Texas beauty, take the high road on the trail less traveled to this spectacular location.
