Last rays of the day as the sun sets on the farms west of Walburg, Texas. In Octorber folks fllock to Walburg's German Restaurant for their Octoberfest celebration, which is just where we were when I captured this shot. Thought I'd capture a nice shot of the Hunter's Moon while we were there, but the sunset was the real winner for the evening.
Got a shot of myself doing my favorite thing at sunrise if I'm not behind the lens. Thank heavens for tripods and timers.
Got out this morning for sunrise and stopped by Devine Lake in Leander. I've been intending to go by this park for years as a potential starting location for a bicycle ride. Really nice park with nice facilities and bathrooms. I'm looking forward to going back to this location for a sunset shot one day.
