Fallen Champion

I was reminded about the Tour of California when one of my friends sent me a photo of herself at this year's tour. I just so happened to also be looking for a motion photo for a weekly contest I participate in when I remembered this shot. Actually one of my favorite motion shots because everything is blurred except Lance Armstrong, who is the third rider and in perfect focus. This was at the summit of one of the 2010 Tour of California King of the Mountain summits between San Francisco and Santa Cruz. Although Lance has fallen from cycling grace after his admission of doping, I still really enjoyed getting to see him at the time and getting this shot.
