Hometown Celebration
After spending the day working around our home on a project we've been putting off, I opted for a close to home firework show to wrap up the 243rd celebration of America's independence. It was the first time I've been to the local show in a few years and it was nice to return to see a display where I didn't have to drive a long distance or deal with the huge crowds or parking issues faced in larger cities. Getting more up and personal with the fireworks show was a real treat as you can see the staging area through the trunks of the live oak trees. Cedar Park put on an impressive show and I would encourage anyone that wants to see some nice fireworks, plus take advantage of all the other family activities before the show, to mark the date on your calendar for 2020.
